      Main Role:

      Duties and responsibilities:
      • Understand and analyze customer behavior and preferences to support product strategies & positioning accordingly.
      • Supports Product Manager to ensure growth and profitability of Retail Assets Portfolio.
      • Reviews the characteristics of Bank’s retail asset products,identify weaknesses/gaps and suggests improvements
      • Conducts market research, comparative analysis for improving Bank’s market share, product refinement & fine-tuning.
      • Conducts customer satisfaction surveys and proposes concepts to meet customer needs and expectations and keeps abreast of the latest developments and innovation in banking products.
      • Supports Product Manager in product launching / promotional programs / product complete literature pertaining to Retail Asset products under development.
      • Plan product campaigns
      • Coordinates with branches & sales channels for marketing/sale of products.
      • Submits periodical MIS with commentary and action plans where warranted.
      • Act as the product champion and subject matter expert within Exim Bank for Retail Asset Products.
      • Support the development of marketing, training, education and communications materials for Retail Asset Products.

      • The purpose of the role is to build and manage rapport with corporate clients so as to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and income generation from sales of all appropriate Assets, Liability and Cash management products of the bank.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Monitor the performance of the Credit Portfolio and maintain its good quality.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Understand and adhere to the entire standard instructions manual of the credit policy at the bank
      • Comply with BOT regulation as provided in the banking and financial Institutions Act on the management of credit risk.
      • Manage and control quality of the credit portfolio and efficient recovery on non –performing accounts by following approved policies and procedures.
      • Identify early warning signals and take immediate remedial measures to mitigate any risks involved.
      • Monitor and follow –up of overdue loan installments, overdrawn accounts, excess over limits and ensure that numbers of overdue outstanding are reduced
      • Ensure that all excess over limits and overdues are reported to Management for significant risk to the Bank and make efforts for recovery measures or appropriate action to be taken.
      • Ensure all compliances for Credit Risk are reported accurately and within deadlines to Management as well as per directives from the Credit Committee.
      • Follow up all classified accounts on which lawsuits have been filed, liaise with lawyers to speed up the recovery.
      • Ensure that monthly reports including BOT are prepared and submitted on time to avoid penalties.
      • Provide any information required by Management / Credit Committee / Board
      • Perform periodic credit reviews

      • Attend to the various Committee as a member of ALCO Committee Risk Management Committee & EXCO Committees
