Exim Bank Encourage Regular Savings

THE Exim Bank Tanzania –Temeke Branch Manager Joyce Sinamtwa has called upon people in Temeke District to cultivate the culture of savings as a way of making them financially independent.

Speaking during the Standard Seven Graduation for Kilakala Primary School adopted by the bank last year held at the school’s campus in Temeke district in Dar es Salaam at the weekend, Sinamtwa said building a savings culture will enable them to raise funds to finance their future projects.

She said her bank recognises that developing a savings habit and committing to a savings plan are important in these uncertain economic times adding that her bank has got tailor made bank products to encourage savings.

“Anyone with sufficient savings is an empowered individual and this is very important to us at Exim Bank.”She said

Sinamtwa said her bank is committed to providing quality banking products and has already expanded its channels by introducing Internet and mobile banking platforms to enhance the bank’s capabilities.

The Kilalala Primary School Head Teacher Abdul Kutarasa, during the event expressed gratitude for the bank’s support adding that the desks donated by the bank have to a greater extent helped to improve the school’s learning environment.

“We are very grateful to Exim Bank and other stakeholders for the support rendered to us. The school has significantly reduced the problems of shortage desks but still have a few problems to improve learning environment at the school,” Kutarasa said.
