Having opening up our 2nd mini branch model in Zanzibar – after establishing a presence in Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam – the count of total B&M prints stands at 29 within Tanzania and 36 across all territories. At Exim Bank, we remain the only member bank from Tanzania to join the Global Banking Alliance for Women, a worldwide group of banks that shares best practices in order to accelerate the global growth and development of women businesses.

Our Total Asset as at 31st December 2014 stood at TSH 1.1 trillion (USD 564 Mi0). The PAT for 2014 is TSH 18.5 billion (USD 9.8 Mio) representing 52% growth compared to 2013.


Exim Bank was promoted by five shareholders of whom three are resident citizens of Tanzania and are represented on the board. We are also strengthened by four independent directors with varied and rich experience in banking and corporate governance.
