Arusha. EXIM Bank Tanzania has pledged to continue supporting various financial institutions in the country on different development initiatives to help improve the financial sector performance, so as to enable the development of the country's economy as a whole.

This was said by the Exim Bank Tanzania, Chief Internal Auditor, Mr. George Binde during the 8th Annual Internal Audit Conference organized by The Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) held at Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) in Arusha recently.

Mr. Binde said his bank has seen the significance of supporting the conference due to the fact; it is a platform that provides a rare opportunity for internal auditors to spend time delving into the internal audit profession literature best practices and help them discuss emerging issues in Tanzania's financial sector and enable improve the sector's development.

"Exim Bank is dedicated at enhancing professionalism and efficiency. This conference promises a great opportunity for internal audit practitioners and interested parties to learn the latest audit trends, tools and techniques, network from peers and gain valuable knowledge from exhibitors.

With this, the conference contributes to the development of internal audit profession in Tanzania at large," Mr. Binde said.
