EXIM LAUNCHES A CAMPAIGN TO
SENSITIZE SECURITY FEATURES OF NEW
FAIDA DEBIT CARD.

Exim Bank Tanzania has launched a campaign aimed at sensitizing customers about the enhanced security features of its New Faida Chip and PIN Debit card. The Bank launched the new debit card last month and some customers have already started reaping the benefits of the cards enhanced security.

According to the Bank’s Product Manager, Mr. Aloyse Maro. The move is part of the bank’s continuous efforts to make banking services more secure and convenient for its esteemed customers.

“The main motive behind the campaign is to sensitize our customers about the enhanced security features of our new Faida debit card which is now uses a Chip as opposed to a magnetic strip.

This provides the card holder with enhanced security and a peace of mind that their card transactions are completely safe and secure” said Mr. Aloyse Maro during the campaign’s launch that took place in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

According to the manager, the card which allows customers to transact and withdraw their money with complete peace-of-mind and contains an embedded microchip that stores the card holders information to increase security when making transactions.

“The card new Faida Chip & PIN card is able to store data that uniquely identifies the card and the cardholder. This makes it nearly impossible for fraudsters to decode or tamper with the card” He added.

He also mentioned that the Faida chip and pin Debit Card also allows customers to access his/her account and perform transactions from any MasterCard certified ATMs and POS machines globally.

He ended by encouraging customers who are yet to collect their new Faida Chip and PIN cards to do so by visiting their branch and begin enjoying transacting with complete peace of mind.
