Exim Bank Tanzania has proved its commitment to strengthening financial inclusion in Tanzania by launching a new branch in the Dodoma region of Tanzania. This new expansion will increase the presence of Exim Bank to a total of thirty-three branches across the country. 

Speaking at the official launch Fredrick Kanga, Exim Bank Tanzania Head, Human Resource said, “The expansion is part of our strategy to grow the Bank's distribution footprint at locations that bring us closer to our customers, while offering a refreshing banking experience. The branch will offer a full range of banking services such as retail products, investment services, and corporate payment solutions.”

The Dodoma branch, which is located inside the University of Dodoma, will serve the captive clients of University of Dodoma, which consists of over 25,000 students, 2000 employees and over 8 Government Ministries who have moved there. It will also serve the Dodoma City clients, as the branch is only 5 to 7 minutes drive from the city centre.

The Regional Commissioner of Dodoma, Mr Jodan Rugimbana commended Exim Bank Tanzania for its commitment adding “We are pleased to have Exim Bank’s presence in the capital of Tanzania, so as to develop a more inclusive financial system that provides greater access to financial products, services and capital to the communities and individuals of Dodoma.”
